Handsome Baby {G} - Bremerton Newborn Photographer

Welcome to the world little man! This little cutie just so happens to be my husband's and I closest friends, first baby. Mom and Dad wanted to keep the sex of the baby a secret, and boy were we all itching to know what he was! So coming early was a great gift to us all.

"G" came 3 weeks early, and weighed 7lbs 4oz. He entered the world in quite a rush to say the least! Mom's water broke, they went to the hospital, and within about an hour "G" was well on his way out. I might add, that this labor happened to fast to everyone's suprise - even the doctors and nurses. There was no time for an epidural as "G" was on a mad rush out! Mom is a super trooper!!

I enjoyed every minute of our session this afternoon, "G" was such a good little model and slept the entire time. Sit back, take a peek and enjoy this little cutie.

She's back!! Here is the most adorable little princess. She is such a happy little girl and just can't wait to see her every time she visits me. We had a lovely session together and she was ready to smile.

{H} Family - Bremerton Family Photographer

This family is full of energy! No suprise though with 2 boys! "B" who is the big brother, looks like a little surfer dude, and is soo cute. Little bro "T" who is quite cute himself and quite the character! I had a great morning with this family.

The boys did great and really liked to pose for the camera, which as you will see some of their expressions are priceless! Thanks "H" family for letting me come to your home and capture your beautiful family..

{H} Twins!! - Bremerton Newborn Photographer

Keri Meyers Photography asked me to come help her during this twin session. I'm so happy I was able to go, it was such a great experience working with twins. Much different than just 1!!. They we such good little babies, Mom and Dad got lucky to have one of each their first try!

After talking with Mom, I quickly figured out that I grew up with her brother in law! Such a small world, especially since they are new to the area after moving from California.

Malaki {Keri Meyers Photography mentor session} - Bremerton Newborn Photographer

First of all I must say...if you can get to Keri Meyers Photography to do a workshop, do it! I learned so much, from posing, to calming the baby, to processing. She is a wealth of knowledge, and I'm so glad I was able to do this. We started out my mentor session with going over camera settings to capture the perfect SOOC. Let me tell you, this alone was worth it. It makes post processing so much easier and faster, just knowing how to get it right in camera.

We had an adorable 12 day old baby boy, who was such a dream. With his perfect little lips, and adorable face, who could not love this little man! Keri showed me all of her techniques to posing the perfect pose, and getting all the little details right. She makes it look so easy! I can't wait until my next solo newborn session to test out all the things I learned from Keri.

I also got all of Keri's actions, and they are also great. The "take the red out" action is spot on and speeds things up so much. I used her color pop action in some of the below shots and works great, and really love the end result.

This was such a great learning experience, as I am quite new to newborn photography this mentor session was just what I needed. You can check out her blog for info about getting signed up for a mentor session.
