Malaki {Keri Meyers Photography mentor session} - Bremerton Newborn Photographer

First of all I must say...if you can get to Keri Meyers Photography to do a workshop, do it! I learned so much, from posing, to calming the baby, to processing. She is a wealth of knowledge, and I'm so glad I was able to do this. We started out my mentor session with going over camera settings to capture the perfect SOOC. Let me tell you, this alone was worth it. It makes post processing so much easier and faster, just knowing how to get it right in camera.

We had an adorable 12 day old baby boy, who was such a dream. With his perfect little lips, and adorable face, who could not love this little man! Keri showed me all of her techniques to posing the perfect pose, and getting all the little details right. She makes it look so easy! I can't wait until my next solo newborn session to test out all the things I learned from Keri.

I also got all of Keri's actions, and they are also great. The "take the red out" action is spot on and speeds things up so much. I used her color pop action in some of the below shots and works great, and really love the end result.

This was such a great learning experience, as I am quite new to newborn photography this mentor session was just what I needed. You can check out her blog for info about getting signed up for a mentor session.

3 Month Old {P} - Bremerton Childrens Photographer

I first met this little sweetheart when she was about 6 days old. My how she has grown in the past 3 months. With her long locks, and precious smile we had a great time together. She was just the perfect little model!
You will be seeing much more of her as her Mommy purchased "The First Year" package, and I can't wait for our next session.
Enjoy!

Sweet Baby {A} - Bremerton Newborn Photographer

This precious little angel came to me at about 9 days old. She was accompanied by her Mom and Dad and 2 older brothers. It was so neat to see how in love her 2 brothers were with her, they just loved to kiss her!
I could tell Mom and Dad couldn't be more excited to welcome a baby girl into a house full of boys...well maybe Mom more so than Dad!!
She took her sweet time to fall asleep, as do most little girls that come to me. After that we were able to breeze through the session.

{E} Family - Bainbridge Island Photographer

After about 3 attempts we finally were able to complete this session! What a lovely family the E family is, I had so much fun chasing lil "Q" around! Miss "D" didn't want much to do with me when the camera was around, but I was able to grab a few when she least expected....super sneaky!

The "E" family was a referral from a previous client, and I must say I LOVE REFERRALS!!! It's so great to hear a new client come to me after being referred. You get the warm and fuzzy feeling inside...well at least I do!

We went to a beautiful Beach on Bainbridge Island, and then to Seabold Farms. Which I have to say has been my most favorite places to go. Big red barns, tall grasses, willow trees and the snow capped mountains...what more could a photographer ask for?

Here are a few of my favorite shots from our morning together. The "E" family informed me that they were being relocated to Denver soon. So this was really important to document their time here in the Pacific NW. I hope I was able to capture everything they love about living in such a beautiful place.

"C" Man turns 2!! - Port Orchard Photographer

C's mommy booked his session way back in February. I was excitd to meet the little man and get to know him. He was quite the serious little guy, barely got him to crack a smile. I had to be on my toes if I was going to be able to grab one! Here are a few shots from our afternoon beach session.

Christy & Scott {Say I do!} - Bellevue Wedding Photographer

I was approached by Shannon Morgan Photography to assist/second shoot with her for this wedding. I jumped at the opportunity to gain more experience with shooting weddings. I had such a great time and learned a ton. The couple was such a beautiful couple and so easy to work with.
We had wonderful weather, with the spring flowers still in full bloom. They were married at the LDS Temple in Bellevue, where the grounds were just spectacular. We then headed back to Port Orchard for their reception.
Here are a few of my favorites from their big day.

Introducing the "Newborn Nest"

Currently on Sale in my Big Cartel shop!

http://www.newbornnest.bigcartel.com/

Dimensions are approx. 12"height and 40"diameter. Depending on how much fill you put in you can get more height out of it. I'm a newborn photographer and it is perfect for posing those great shots. Made out of a faux leather vinyl, making it easiest for wiping up accidents. I can make it in a suede if you request.

Please allow 5 days for shipment, depending on volume of orders I have.

This is made very well and durable. Stitched with strong upholstery thread. Fill access point is closed with a strong, secure velcro making it easy to fill. Does not come with fill, as it would greatly increase shipping costs. There are many online sites to buy inexpensive bean bag fill. For a very full bean bag, (how I prefer) I used 4 bags of 100litre fill
